How Many Airports Are There In Izmir?

There are two airports in Izmir: Adnan Menderes Airport which is 14 km away from the city center. You can reach to Adnan Menderes Airport by:

  • Metro: The Izban metro service links Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport with the city and operates from around 05:00 AM to midnight.
  • Public Buses: Local ESHOT buses 200, 202, and 204 serve Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
  • Shuttle Service: Shuttle bus company Havaş also operates seasonal buses to and from the airport, with a journey time of around 50 minutes. These buses run every hour, with frequent departures to the city corresponding with incoming domestic flights.
  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available at the airport and can be found at the taxi stand located near the terminal building. You can also book a taxi in advance through a taxi company or a ride-hailing app.
  • Car: You can use a GPS navigation system or a map application to find the best route from your starting point.

 

How Much Baggage Can I Carry On My Izmir Flight?
